The BOUNTY: Lopez Island Farmers, Food, and Community book will launch this Friday, October 21st at Lopez Center from 5-7 PM.
The book is the culmination of a three-year project documenting farming on Lopez Island. I feel fortunate to be part of such an amazing team, along with Steve Horn, Summer Moon, Heather Harrison, designer Jane Jeszeck, writer Iris Graville, chef Kim Bast, and project manager Sue Roundy. The beautiful 124-page book combines photographs, profiles, and recipes to present an intimate, behind-the-scenes view of what it takes to bring food from earth to table on Lopez Island.
