“I would recommend (Robert) to anyone and everyone, and I already have! His photos come out wonderful and they were exactly what I was looking for.” - Shaylynn
Shaylynn and Peter had an intimate ceremony on the grounds of San Juan Island Inn in Friday Harbor. We then headed down to the Friday Harbor docks for a portrait session. The reception was at the San Juan Island Yacht Club with Coho Restaurant providing an amazing dinner and Gerard Woldtvedt capturing the celebration on video. "Thank you so much for being a part of our special day, we so appreciate your fabulous photography skills and will always treasure the memories that your photos will provide us." -Nick and Laura
Laura and Nick wanted an adventure for their elopement wedding. Having never been on an island before, they decided to head to Orcas Island and get married on a sailboat! They chartered Kruger Escapes and we headed out on a windy April afternoon aboard the S/V Tomahawk. We laid anchor in a little bay on the north side of Jones Island and Captain Karl officiated the ceremony. I also have to include a recommendation for Jess, Karl and their daughter Dagny! They own Kruger Escapes, which operates sailing charters and elopement wedding celebrations. They are a very sweet family and are lovely to work with. Conner and Nancy were married on a beautiful and blustery day at the Inn at Ship Bay.
We took portraits in the old orchard and on the bluffs overlooking the bay. The ceremony was held in the Orchardside Room. This amazing wedding would not have been possible without a fantastic team including Cloud Nine Events, Petals and TWIST and the great staff at the Inn at Ship Bay. "We were so happy that you were our photographer - excellent job all around: friendly, professional, great work, and incredible turn around time. We will definitely recommend you to friends!" -Amy and Craig
Amy and Craig were married on a bright June day at Doe Bay Resort and Retreat. They had an intimate family-only celebration on the point overlooking Rosario Straight followed by a reception at the Doe Bay Retreat House. Doe Bay Resort and Retreat is one of the premier wedding venues in the San Juan Islands, located on the south east side of Orcas Island. In addition to the idyllic setting, it has a full range of accommodations, from a retreat house and cabins to yurts and camp sites. Not to mention the spa with soaking tubs, saunas and massages! Darcy and Michael were married at the beautiful Victorian Valley Chapel on Orcas Island with a reception at the Inn at Ship Bay. The chapel is an enchanting church with sweet light sweeping in from the stained glass windows.
After the wedding, I took Darcy and Michael's portraits on the grounds at Inn at Ship Bay. The idyllic setting was the perfect backdrop – an expansive vista overlooking the water. Please make sure to read their testimonial. |
